Pop-Up Library

The Pop-Up Library is a vibrant mobile unit designed to bring library services directly into the Chattanooga community. I developed the visual identity, utilizing dynamic gradient circles to emulate bubbles (a literal play on the "pop" in the name) and to provide bursts of inviting color. To create a cohesive brand ecosystem, I integrated the bold typeface famously used in the "Libraries Make shhh happen" merch line. This distinguishable design not only draws crowds but also functions as a lead generator; a QR code prominently featured on the back allows users to instantly access the online request form to book the van for future community events.

Read & Ride

Read & Ride is a collaborative program between the Chattanooga Public Library and CARTA that provides free bus fare to K-12 readers. I led the naming of the initiative and designed the visual identity, including the physical cards and social media campaign. After exceeding all engagement goals in its first year, the program transitioned from a pilot to a permanent fixture, significantly expanding public transit access for families in Hamilton County.

Bookmark It! is a quarterly publication that reimagines the traditional stakeholder report as an engaging, high-quality magazine. By blending essential library metrics and upcoming event calendars with fun, human-centered content, I transformed a dry administrative requirement into a sought-after community resource. This editorial approach ensures that both stakeholders and patrons remain informed and inspired, bridging the gap between raw data and the Library’s real-world impact.
